  Just had a major service and MOT (following a recent main dealer in the area not doing the job properly and missing a large number of service items and not noticing faults I knew existed). Everything was great from the start - good communications, a handy video of advisory areas needing attention and an honest view on when the work needed doing. You also have the ability to authorise works on line based on the video report. The team are friendly, helpful and clearly take a pride in customer service, even carrying out a couple of extra small issues as complimentary. As others have commented, there is no pushiness, just their view based on experience - so focus is on the areas requiring attention. That attention to detail gives me comfort to trust them to do the larger jobs. Immediately noticed on starting the car and pulling away the difference in smoothness - whereas when I used a main dealer in Winchester it was exactly as when it went in. I would definitely recommend the Halfords team in Winchester, and plan now to get my wife's car serviced there as well.

  I've been using this Halfords for years and they're really, really helpful: never pushy, always help you to find cost-effective solutions, and never make you have work done you don't actually need. And they're all - especially Simon - great at explaining exactly what the problem is and how they've dealt with it. Can't recommend them enough!
